I was looking into user profile options.
there are two choices for - I140 Filing Type
- Regular
- Premium
What is the difference b/w two. Can EB3 candidate file for I140 Filing Type in Premium category.

AC21 is the only light at the end of the tunnel for doing such things. If you change employer before I-485 is filed and pending 180 days, all you will get will be your labor priority date. You will have to file labor and I-140 again with your new employer and when filing I-485 you can use your old priority date.

This might be little bit old, but I dont remember seeing a post on this. Employment-based immigrant visa fees almost doubled, Old fees $ 355, new fees $ 720 from July 13th. Does this mean USCIS will open the gates in Sept bulletin [to be released in August]?

Hi,
I was working on H1B till one month back, recetly I joined permanent position on EAD. I need to renew my wifes EAD. Though I dod not need it but for driving license they want some immigration document, so I am planning to e-file for my wife's EAD. I have couple of questions
1. There is question for Current Immigration status. I belive since I mobved to EAD my wif's status is AOS pending. But from the option I do not see any option near to that. What should be right choice. It is not a manadatory field can I leave it blank.
2. There is question for Provide information regarding eligibility status. What should i put there , I am thginking to keep AOS Pending.
3. Somebody told me that I can not e-file for my wife.
Gurus please suggest. I am waiting for your responses.

While there are some politicians genuinely concerned about the subject of immigration who are backing anti-immigration laws because they believe in the cause, there are many more who have jumped on the anti-immigration bandwagon to score political points (John McCain - I'm talking to you). H1b from non-cap to cap cannot be transfered. In order for you to work in private companies, you need to get new H1b by filing in on april 1 st 2009 which will ahve start date of oct 2009. Untill then you are stuck ..!!!
However you can transfer your present H1b to another non-profit h1b. I know the rules sucks..I ahve been in your place and got H1b this time. Can't wait to to get freedom on oct 1st.

I have a problem. My Employer want to know how long it`s take to become the EB3 Visa, I meen after PERM, I-140. I`m from Germany. I have read that it`s take 4 years till a visa will be available. It`s really so?

Now that the I-485 gates have been opened, I would like to know what will happen to my spouse's H1B application pending before USCIS? Since I am planning on filing for I-485 for my spouse as well, will the H1B process make a difference? Or will the H1B approval cause any issues to the I-485 application?
