I am working on H1B visa as full time employee (Business Analyst) for a global manufacturing company. After going throughforums I understand that as consulting employees need client letters, similarly full time employees need in house project documentation for visa stamping. I work in IT department of my company where we maintain applications and provide production support and there is no specific project that I am working on. Should full time employees must have in house project documentation for visa stamping? Will I have any problem if I tell VO that I provide production support and am not working on a specific 1 project?

Hello Everyone,
If primary applicant of I-485 uses AC21 and Spouse of primary applicant not planning to work for at least 3 years because of infant kids. Could we please share what are advantages and disadvantages you can think of for not applying an EAD for secondary applicant until ready to find a job?

Following are list I can think of.
Disadvantages
- Secondary will not get SSN and tax rebate
- Would have to renew for 3 years even though not going to use

Advantages
-If get lucky get a Green card without using EAD ever

I have heard issues with Driving license but that's with having EAD.

Hi,
Currently I am on H1B visa.I will file my 485 as secondary applicant.What are my options in case If I have to leave my job and my 485 is still not approved.

Do I need to file H4 (Since 485 is still not approved) ?

You can status will be Adjustment of Status ( AOS ) but cant work . IYou need a APO if you want to travel . If you want to work you need an EAD .

Check with attorney .This is the essence of mail which i got from my attorney when asked regarding my son status

Hi,

My wife and I both have EAD and AP. My wife is derivative on my 485 application. I am using H1b for employment though, while my wife is using EAD for employment.

We are planning to travel to India. I am going to continue to use my H1 b as I am going for visa stamping on my trip to India. My wife will be using AP for reentry.

Questions:
1) Do you see any complications while reentering in this scenario either for me or for my wife since I will be using H1 visa and she will be using AP.

2) Does she need to carry her employment verification letter since she is derivative of my application? Can the IO at poe entry ask for her employment? What should she be saying her purpose of visit or any such questions? Would it be ok to mention 'pending AOS' as the status.

Hello All,
I have my H1B immigration interview in New delhi on NOV 4th. I am not sure if this is a problem or not. In 2009 (Nov - Jan) I worked for a small company for designing websites. That employer doesnt have any of my details except my name . But, he said I am on his payroll and issued me few company cheques( I am on OPT at that time). At Feb I need to apply for my OPT extension, that small company dint give me their e verified number so I quit that job and joined a consultancy and applied for OPT extension. I got a new job in March. Now consultancy people filed for my H1 and it got approved. Now I am flying to India and need to get my H1 stamped. Would there be any problem about my last job where they dont have any of my details except my name?

My H1B was approved for location A (MICHIGAN),ONE MONTH AGO.Now my employer wants me to work in location B(PA).My question-
Do I have to wait until labor is approved for location B or can I start working from monday and labor(for location B) can come in 10-15 days thereafter.I am a PT.

Hi guys,

I want to dynamically load any .xaml file which had 3D object. Now I am selecting one sample .xaml file using opendialog box. I rendered the Content to the window. Now I am able to do Zoom and Pan. But I am unable to do rotation.

This is my current status

I am on H1 B visa and currently working in the US. My visa expires in July, 2011.

I was sent to the US on a long term onsite assignment from the company I was working in bangalore, India. I am asked to come back to India in June 2010.

What are the implications of me quitting thecurrent job once I go back to India? Is my H1 B visa still valid?
In case if I go back to India and move to a different company, do I have to go through everything starting from filing the H1 petition to get the H1 visa?

My lawyer once told me that if you travel outside of the country while your AP application is pending, it means that you have abandoned your application. Not sure if AP renewals/extensions as well but if I have to take a guess, I think it does...

I think MVVM is good for the type of apps people are building right now. The way I see it, patterns usually evolve as the type of applications they help build evolve. Many applications even today do not strictly follow a view/model separation even today :P
