Chapter meetups is a positive step. The so called baby step.... If folks RSVP and do not show up, the leaders will get upset if the same folks do not have the courtesy to tell why they did not show up....;)

Secondly if your leader is going to scream at people who are not attending the meetings, this is only going to drive people away from IV. Unfortunately, as someone who has learnt it the hard way, using aggressive language (especially language which is a negative judgement on people's nature) does not get the work done at the end of the day. They did it for their country and fellowmen to be free from the clutches of oppression (a much serious issue than green card i think). Although even that is extended selfishness (cos of being Indian or African American) but they dedicated their entire lives for that cause.

If you have a good experience with your lawyer and are recommending the law firm, pls also try to talk to your lawyer about IV. Ask the law firm if they want to contribute/ or even publicize IV to their clients. If they agree to do it, please post here. If they refuse, pls post here.

Here I want to make clear, FIFO for taking labor applications and sending ad instructions not for approving. I know depending on compilcation of cases(I think), some cases with PD 2005 get approved fast and cases with PD 2003 are taking longer. I dont know why all these mess in DOL, for taking the labor applications and sending ad instructions.

I know of the two different employees with the same employer with similar jobs/descriptions, one with PD 2005 approved and another with PD 2003 whose application hasn't even been taken for processing. So the behavior of the BEC just seems to be random and there seems to be no particular logic. Complication of the cases is definitely not one of the reasons as far as I know.

Mandal ka Kamanadal will do. What this means is that we are back to square one. All the effort, money and energy was spent on making sure that we didnt get screwed any further. Meaning, it hasnt moved us a step ahead but just helped us to retain our positions without going back.

In my opinion Let's contribute $100 each pay them and get this information. I'm sure there'll be 50 people who would want this information for $100....Atleast I'm sick of seeing Visa Dates predictions and seeing Visa bulletins itself. Atleast we'll know what we are dealing with.
